Enthiran is a forthcoming science-fiction Tamil–language film being directed by S. Shankar, who with Enthiran, directs his tenth feature film. Despite several rumours regarding the lead actors, Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai have been formally announced to portray the lead roles. The film is expected to cost 120 crores, one of the highest ever film budgets of the Chennai film industry.

A song rumoured to be the title song for Rajinikanth’s Shankar directed Endhiran will be shot at Hyderabad.

The song is a typical Shankar song where heroine Aishwarya Rai is shown showering her love on the hero Rajinikanth.

It was earlier JD Chakravarthy who is likely to act Villain for Superstar Rajini Enthiran movie but the latest news around Kollywood is that Sikkim actor Danny Denzongpa will play as a baddie for the movie Endhiran. Danny Denzongpa who had acted in many Bollywood flicks also starred in some international projects too.

The portions of Endhiran which have been shot were recently screened for Kalanithi Maran. The producer is reportedly very happy with the way the scenes have come out and is said to have wholeheartedly praised director Shankar for the richness in every frame.

The magnum opus Super Star Rajinikanth movie “Endhiran the Robot” is shaping well with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Director Shankar and the entire crew. As Shankar is known for giving big budget movies he had now moving towards India’s first ever big budget movie in India. The latest from Enthiran the Robot is that Sun Pictures owned the production rights for the sci-fi movie. According to reports, Ayngaran had handed over all the production rights by transferring all the production costs of the movie to Sun Pictures.

Endhiran, the Tamil sci-fi film initially titled Robot, stars Rajnikanth in a double role and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film is being directed by Sivaji director S. Shankar.
A source working on the film revealed the plot. “Rajnikanth plays a scientist and the robot named Endhiran.” said the source.
