Rajnikanth, superstar of South Indian film industry, is landing in Mumbai after 15 long years at the music launch of his extravaganza “The Robot”. Guess who simulated him to come to Mumbai? Amitabh Bachchan endeavored to persuade Rajnikanth to pay visit to B-town. But Rajnikanth could not get convinced. Then came Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his leading lady in the movie, who requested him to be part of the Music release and Rajnikanth could not turn down her humble request.
Rajnikanth is an introvert and reserved person. He stays away from public appearances and likes to be seen in crowds in his movies only. That is why he was unwilling to grace the occasion of the music release of “The Robot”. He was contented with his Chennai. But after Aishwarya, director Shankar also insisted him to attend the music release. Then contemplating over the marketing criteria he agreed for the event.

Venus, leading music company, has bagged the music rights of “The Robot” for Hindi version. They strongly believe that association of AR Rehman with “The Robot” will fetch them good return. AR Rehman has worked on its background score and its soundtracks. The lyrics are penned down by Swanand Kikire. Leading singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Hariharan and Sadhna Sargam have given their voices to the songs.
As “Endhiran” is tri-lingual movie, its Tamil and Telugu versions have already released in Malaysia and Hyderabad respectively. The numbers of the album have garnered good reviews. The album has been receiving global appreciation as it has topped the chartbusters in US and is enjoying third place in UK on iTunes. Now comes Mumbai where its Hindi version is ready to rock the chartbusters.
“The Robot” Bollywood version of “Endhiran” is a science fiction with Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in leading roles. Rajnikanth is playing a gifted scientist who designs a robot with the help of artificial intelligence. The robot is crafted with the motto to curb the evil forces and instill the peace. Then comes Aishwarya who brings the feelings of love and affection in him and thus he enters society with its qualms.
“Endhiran” is big-budgeted film in India by expending as many as Rs.150 crore on it. Shankar has toiled hard on polishing its every bit. These days its promotion is in full swing. Rajnikanth’s presence on the music launch of the movie will be precious moment for his fans to see him after a decade and half in Mumbai. Making the event even more happening Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will grace the event.
