Akshay Kumar to play the villain in ‘Enthiran 2’
Akshay Kumar, Bollywood’s very own khiladi, has been signed on to play the villain in filmmaker Shankar’s “Robot 2”, which will also release in Tamil as “Enthiran 2”. The film is a bilingual and has Tamil Nadu’s cinema icon, Rajinikanth, in the lead along with Amy Jackson.
“Enthiran 2” is touted as India’s most expensive movie at this point of time.
The makers of the film were rumoured to be in talks with Aamir Khan for the antagonist’s role. Later, they got acquainted with the Terminator star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and tried to rope him in as the villain. Our source says, “Just two days ago, talks with Arnie failed because there was extensive paperwork involved in getting the former governor of California to come and work in India.“
Akshay flew to Chennai last evening to be a part of the puja and meet Shankar and the rest of the cast. He then flew back to Mumbai on a private charter.
