As the COVID-19 vaccination drive is gaining momentum, more and more people above the age of 18 are getting their first dose of vaccination. Some of the top celebrities from the film fraternity have also started to get themselves vaccinated for coronavirus. The latest among them is actor Gautham Karthik.
The young actor, who was last seen in ‘Devarattam’ in 2019, got his first dose of COVID-19 vaccination at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Sharing pictures of himself getting vaccinated, Gautham Karthik posted, “Got myself vaccinated today. It’s our responsibility to get vaccinated to keep us and others safe. Thanks to the medical staff at @HospitalsApollo Perungudi, for clearing my doubts and putting my fears to rest. Dr.Karthika, Faisal, Ravi and Parimala. Thank you all once again.” (sic)
Meanwhile on the work front, Gautham Karthik will be seen along with Silambarasan TR in ‘Pathu Thala’. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the film is a remake of the Kannada blockbuster Mufti. The film marks the reunion of the Sillunu Oru Kadhal team of director Krishna, AR Rahman, and the Studio Green banner.
