Rajinikanth lauds Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal. Desingh Periyasamy is elated
Superstar Rajinikanth recently watched Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and appreciated director Desingh Periyasamy over a phone call.
Superstar Rajinikanth gave a pleasant surprise to director Desingh Periyasamy after watching his debut directorial, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal. After watching the film, Rajinikanth called Desingh and appreciated him for his work. He also apologised for watching the film late and casually asked the young director to write an exciting script for him. Director Desingh took to Twitter to share his happiness with a note.
The filmmaker also added that a recording of their phone call was accidentally leaked on social media and that he is not happy about it. Calling it a personal conversation, Desingh, in his post, wrote that many people felt happy for him.
In his first tweet, Desingh did not mention Rajinikanth’s name. But, his followers assumed that it was Rajinikanth who called him and wished him best of luck. Later in the day, their conversation was leaked on social media.
Desingh also added that he did not feel the need to name Rajinikanth in his tweet because it was a personal conversation between them. He also thanked everyone for showering love on him.
