Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe to hit screens on November 4

Superstar Rajinikanth‘s next, Annaatthe, is all set to hit screens on November 4. The film’s production house made the announcement on its social media page and said that the film will be a Deepavali release. The production house captioned it, “#Annaatthe will be releasing on November 4th, 2021! Get ready for #AnnaattheDeepavali! @rajinikanth @directorsiva @KeerthyOfficial @immancomposer.”

Annaatthe is an action drama directed by Siva, which stars Superstar Rajinikanth, NayantharaKeerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Vela Ramamoorthy, George Maryan, Sathish and Soori to name a few. Music for the film is D Imman, cinematography by Vetri and editing by Ruben. Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, had recorded an introduction song for Rajinikanth in the film, which marks his last song after his death.

The team had already started filming before covid-19 spread and 40 per cent of the film was completed. But, the shoot got postponed after the pandemic. Later, when the team resumed filming, the film’s director Siva lost his father and four members of the film crew had tested positive for the coronavirus, while shooting in Hyderabad. Rajinikanth too was hospitalised for fluctuating blood pressure. After all the hurdles, it looks like the film is gearing up for the big release.
