Rajinikanth’s new film with Siruthai Siva titled Viyoogam : Reports

Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Darbar last month and went on a 10-day spiritual trip to the Himalayas. A couple of weeks ago, Sun Pictures, the production house announced that they will be producing Siruthai Siva’s upcoming film, which will feature Rajinikanth in the lead role.

Tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, the film is touted to be a rural entertainer. If the grapevine is anything to go by, the film is said to be titled as Viyoogam, which means strategy in English. However, an official confirmation regarding the film’s title is yet to be made.

Siruthai Siva’s trend of starting his film’s titles with the letter V is known to everyone. His previous films with Ajith were titled Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Viswasam. It looks like director Siva will be continuing this trend on to Rajinikanth’s film as well.

Also, rumours are rife that Keerthy Suresh is said to be in talks to play the female lead in this venture. Earlier, names of Jyothika and Manju Warrier were floating around.

D Imman, who teamed up with Siruthai Siva in Viswasam, will continue his association with him in Thalaivar 168 as well. It is said that comedian Soori has been roped in to provide comedy relief in the commercial entertainer. The shooting of the film will begin early next year.
