Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, also known as Thalivaa who has delivered nothing but hits in a career spanning more than three decades, celebrates his 63rd birthday today. On his special day, we bring to you some of his best loved leading ladies.
Rajinikanth got his first break in 1975. K. Balachander gave Rajinikanth a supporting role in his movie ‘Apoorva Raagangal’, which popularised him as a villain. But it was SP Muthuraman who gave Rajinikanth his first break as a hero.

Deepika Padukone was also cast for a role opposite Rajinikanth in ‘Rana’ however the film has been postponed for now.
Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan couldn’t refrain herself from working with superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Enthiran’ (Robot). The film, which was made at a budget of Rs 100 cr, was a blockbuster that year.
