Now, director Siva seems to have met Rajinikanth at his residence in Poes Garden recently.

It is said that director Siva is currently in talks with Rajinikanth to resume shooting for the film as the makers have announced that film will be released on Diwali in November.

‘Anaatthe’ is produced by Sun Pictures, and it has many popular faces from the industry. The film has a huge line up of cast which includes Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Kushbhu, Prakashraj, Sathish, Soori, Goerge Maryan and many others and has music by D Imman. The movie is said to be a rural-based family entertainer.

The shooting of superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Annaatthe’ directed by Siva resumed in December after the lockdown due the current pandemic situation. The team had earlier been shooting in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City, where sets were erected for the film. Unfortunately, the shooting came to a halt after four members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 despite following safety precautions and staying in a bio bubble. Rajinikanth, however, had tested negative for the virus.
