Rajinikanth and Siva to resume Annaatthe’s third schedule soon

While almost every movie got into trouble over the coronavirus-induced lockdown, Rajinikanth -starrer Annatthe has been affected quite badly. This is the first time director Siva joined Rajini and the first schedule went event-free. However, in the second schedule, which kick-started in December, even though the makers took extreme precautions, including bio-bubble, four crew members tested positive for COVID-19 and the team had to stop shooting. Though Superstar Rajinikanth was tested negative, he gave a health scare as his blood pressure started fluctuating and had to be hospitalised. Rajiini was supposed to be launching his political party on December 31 but post his hospitalisation, Rajini totally abandoned the idea of starting a political party. Meanwhile, there were reports that the film will go on floors only after the state assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. But the makers announced that they would release the movie on November 4. Among these developments, director Siva went and met Rajini at his Poes Garden residence on January 29. Now, it is reported that the team has decided to restart the shooting from end of February or first week of March. The film has completed 60 % of its shooting and post-production work. The team is now planning to wrap up the shooting in one schedule, which will start soon.
The film is said to be a brother-sister relationship and a stellar cast including NayantharaKeerthy Suresh,Meena, Kushbu and Prakash Raj are part of the movie. Imman is scoring the music for the film.
